Color-stable window film offers glare reduction and a dark, consistent finish. Choose CS when appearance and budget are your main priorities.

UV protection with the Seal of Recommendation
The Skin Cancer Foundation lists XPEL PRIME XR PLUS, PRIME XR, and PRIME CS automotive film series among its recommended products.
To earn the Seal, window film must demonstrate that it blocks at least 99% of solar UVA and UVB radiation. The Seal identifies qualifying films as effective UV protectants.
Film helps reduce UV exposure through the treated windows and complements other sun-protection habits.

Choose your shade with confidence
Visible light transmission (VLT) describes how much visible light passes through a film or glazing system. Lower percentages look darker. Your existing glass also affects the final result.
Heat rejection is a separate measurement. Infrared rejection describes one part of the solar spectrum; total solar energy rejected (TSER) provides a broader performance measure. Compare the exact film and shade, rather than treating an infrared percentage as the total heat kept out.
Visit Rhino to compare shade samples and our heat-rejection demonstration. We’ll discuss daytime appearance, nighttime visibility, and the windows you want covered. Available shades are not automatically suitable for every window position; we review applicable requirements before installation.
What to expect at Rhino
- Choose your film and coverage. Tell us your vehicle’s year, make, and model, which windows you want tinted, and whether old film needs removal.
- Review the glass. We assess the existing film and glass condition and explain any removal or preparation needed. Windshield and roof-glass requests require a vehicle-specific review.
- Prepare and install. We clean the glass and install the selected film on the agreed windows.
- Review the result. At pickup, we explain curing, cleaning, and the warranty. Contact us with any concerns while the film settles.

Before and after installation
Window tint questions
No. Shade and film technology both matter. Compare the specifications for the exact films and shades you are considering. Ceramic film can offer heat rejection without requiring the darkest appearance.
We confirm the windows individually. Tell us whether you want selected windows or a broader package, and mention any windshield or roof-glass request. Existing-film removal is assessed separately.
XPEL recommends waiting approximately 1–5 days, depending on climate. Follow the timing we give you at pickup. Read XPEL’s care instructions.
XPEL notes that haze or moisture bubbles may be visible for up to ten days while installation moisture dries. Contact Rhino if you notice lifting, worsening distortion, or anything that concerns you; do not pick at the film.
Use a clean microfiber towel lightly dampened with water. A mild, ammonia-free glass cleaner can be used if needed. Avoid abrasive pads or other materials that could scratch the film.
XPEL PRIME carries a manufacturer’s limited warranty for the life of the vehicle, starting on the original installation date.
It covers qualifying manufacturing defects, including fading, discoloration, bubbling, peeling, cracking, and delamination, when professionally installed and maintained according to XPEL’s instructions.
For an approved claim, XPEL determines the remedy and covers removal or replacement of the affected film, including parts and labor. Replacement does not restart the warranty period.
Scratches, stains, accidental damage, misuse, improper installation, and damage from incorrect cleaning or harsh chemicals are excluded. Keep your original receipt and warranty card. Notify Rhino in writing with the affected areas and a description of the issue.
The warranty is transferable when the new owner provides XPEL with proof of the original installation date; only the remaining original coverage transfers. Read XPEL’s full PRIME warranty and exclusions.
