Frequently Asked Questions
Answers to common questions about protecting, restoring, and caring for your vehicle at Rhino Films & Detailing in Huntington Beach.
Booking & quotes
How do I get a quote or arrange an appointment?
Send your vehicle’s year, make, and model, the services you want, and a few clear photos through our quote form. Mention existing tint, film, coatings, or paint repairs. You can also call (714) 847-9274.
How much will my service cost?
Pricing depends on your vehicle, its condition, the selected products, and the work included. We review the scope and confirm pricing before work begins. An in-person inspection may be needed to finalize the estimate.
How long will you need my vehicle?
Timing depends on preparation, installation, and curing requirements. Tell us about any deadline when requesting a quote so we can confirm an expected schedule.

Window tint
Which XPEL tint should I choose?
PRIME CS is our Good option for appearance and UV protection. PRIME XR BLACK is our Amazing ceramic option for comfort and value. PRIME XR PLUS is our The Best option when heat reduction is the priority. Compare the films and shades with our team.
Does darker tint always block more heat?
No. Film technology and shade both matter. Compare the exact film and shade rather than judging heat performance by darkness alone. We can show you shade samples and our heat-rejection demonstration.
Paint protection film & ceramic coatings
What is the difference between PPF and ceramic coating?
PPF is a physical film that helps protect covered paint from stone chips, scuffs, and minor scratches. Ceramic coating helps repel water and makes routine cleaning easier. Compatible products can be combined.
Which PPF coverage is right for me?
Full Front End focuses on the front of the vehicle. The Track Package adds protection to selected lower and exposed areas. Full Body covers exterior painted areas for our most comprehensive coverage. We can tailor panels to your priorities and confirm the exact scope in your quote. See package details.
Will PPF or ceramic coating repair existing scratches?
Neither repairs damaged paint. We inspect the finish and discuss preparation or paint correction first. Deep scratches, chips, or failing paint may need repair. Ceramic coating does not make paint scratch-proof, and PPF cannot prevent every impact or scratch.
Detailing & new vehicles
Does a new car need detailing?
A new vehicle can collect dirt and contamination during transport and time on the dealership lot. Rhino Mini Detail is our Yearly Paint Recondition / New Vehicle Package, with a finish refresh and polymer sealant to help protect the paint from the elements and UV exposure. We inspect your vehicle before recommending the work. Explore detailing packages.
Which detailing package should I choose?
Rhino Mini Detail suits maintenance and well-kept finishes. Rhino Detailing Plus adds light polishing, while Rhino Signature Detailing provides more extensive paint correction. Rhino Interior Detailing focuses on the cabin and can be booked separately. We recommend a package after reviewing the vehicle’s condition and your goals.
Aftercare & warranties
When can I wash my car or roll down freshly tinted windows?
Follow the product-specific instructions provided at pickup. Tint, PPF, and ceramic coatings have different curing and cleaning requirements. Contact us if you are unsure or notice anything concerning while the material settles.
What warranty comes with my service?
Coverage depends on the product installed and its manufacturer’s terms. Keep your receipt and warranty records, and follow the required care and inspection schedule. We explain the applicable coverage at pickup. Our tint, PPF, and coating pages include product-specific warranty information.
Do I still need to maintain a protected vehicle?
Yes. Regular washing and prompt removal of contamination remain important. Use products suitable for your film, coating, or finish, and keep any required inspection appointments. Ask us for a care routine suited to your vehicle.
Still have a question?
